Experience Mifflinburg’s New Variety Talk Show!
Tickets for the October, November, and December Shows are Now on Sale
During the horse and buggy era, there were more buggies made, per capita, in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania than any other town in the state, earning Mifflinburg the nickname “Buggytown”.
Once the buggies were completed, they were taken to an area or building known as a Repository, until they were picked up by their new owner.
This variety show’s title is inspired by both those facts and intends to be its own repository, or collection, of guests, jokes, stories, songs, sketches, and, most importantly, people.
Inspired in part by 1960s variety television, tv talk shows, radio programs, and, of course, The Muppets, the Buggytown Repository takes elements from each of those forms and combines them together in an evening’s entertainment created and hosted by Mifflinburg native Mark D. Lingenfelter.
The Buggytown Repository will be held on the third Saturday of every month, September through December 2022, at the Elias Center for Performing Arts in Mifflinburg.
